James Yoshizawa has been an active educator for over a decade and has taught students ranging from young children with no musical experience to advanced college music performance majors. He he teaches a wide range of percussion instruments including drum set (jazz, rock, funk, latin, etc), orchestral percussion, marching percussion, mallet percussion, congas, bongos, bones, bodhran, frame drum, riq and pandeiro.
